Pacific Islander Youth Association Rugby Camp
The Pacific Islander Youth Association Rugby Camp is holding rugby camp events at Riordan High School during the week of July 15th trough July 19th. On Wednesday, July 17th, 2013 Chief Greg Suhr attended and presented a check to PIYA from the San Francisco Police Foundation.
The San Francisco Police Foundation and the Department has partnered with the Pacific Islander Youth Rugby Camp and are committed to making this an annual event.
Professional rugby player, Samu Manoa of the British, North Hampton Rugby Club has been out giving support, and coaching some of his legendary techniques. The camp attendees are very excited about his participation and are delighted to spend time with Samu and his family.
The San Francisco Police Department continues to support events and groups that focus on the needs of the community
