San Francisco Police Seek Public's Help in January 7, 2007 Homicide
Homicide Victim Alberto Casillas
San Francisco Police Homicide Inspectors are asking for the public’s assistance in solving a homicide which occurred on January, 7, 2007 at approximately 2:17 a.m., in the South of Market area of 13th and Folsom Streets. This is the fourth anniversary of the death.
In this incident, the victim, Alberto Casillas was shot and killed in his vehicle while driving in the area of 13th and Folsom. The suspects had confronted the victim earlier in the evening near Club Caliente, during the confrontation, the suspects brandished a firearm. A short while later, as Alberto and his friends were driving away from the area; the suspects fired multiple rounds into the driver’s side of the victim’s vehicle. Alberto was shot and died at San Francisco General Hospital.
The Office of the Mayor has authorized a $250,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspect responsible for the murder of Alberto Casillas.
