HOMICIDE OF GERMAN TOURIST

 

 

 

           

On Sunday August 08, at 8:56PM, San Francisco Police Officers responded to a call of a shooting on the 400 block of Mason Street. When officers arrived, they found a large crowd in the area and three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Witnesses in the area provided responding officers with descriptions of the suspects. Five suspects were subsequently detained and a firearm was recovered.


The victims at the scene included a 15 year old male with a gunshot wound to the upper body, a 19 year old female with a gunshot wound to the leg and a 50 year old female, who suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the upper body. The 50 year old woman, a German tourist has died from her injuries. The 15 year old male and the 19 year old female both have non-life threatening injuries.


San Francisco Police Homicide Detail is investigating the case. The German Consulate has been notified of the death.
